About Tech Repair Toronto
A home-based computer repair and IT business in Toronto, working with residents, clinics, offices and small businesses.
A Small Toronto Repair and IT Business
We fix computers for people at home, and we look after the tech for home offices, clinics, professional firms and small businesses that don’t need, or don’t want to pay for, a big IT company.
Most of the work is software: Windows, Mac and Linux problems, networks, cloud accounts and office systems. A single laptop and a clinic network get the same treatment. We find out what’s actually wrong, explain it, and fix that.
There’s no account manager in between. You talk to the person doing the work, and we recommend what fits your budget rather than the most expensive option.

Questions About the Business
What is Tech Repair Toronto?
Tech Repair Toronto is an independent, home-based computer repair and IT support business in North York, Toronto. It repairs Windows laptops, desktops and Macs, recovers data and removes viruses for households, and handles IT support, networking, security, Microsoft 365 and AI automation for small businesses and clinics across the Greater Toronto Area.
Is there a storefront I can walk into?
No. The workshop is home-based, at 39 Pintail Crescent, North York, Toronto, ON M3A 2Y6, and every visit is by appointment. There are no walk-ins and no while-you-wait repairs. Text or WhatsApp 437-435-6243 to book a drop-off time.
Do you have more than one location?
No. There is one workshop, in North York. The area pages on this site explain how drop-off, paid pickup and remote support work for each part of the GTA; they are not separate locations.
Do you come to my home or office?
Usually not. Most problems are fixed in a remote session or at the workshop after a booked drop-off, and pickup can be arranged for a charge based on your location. The exception is home Wi-Fi problems, where a home visit is available: if the problem can't be fixed, you pay only the visit charge. Business IT support is done remotely, with hardware dropped off or collected.
Wi-Fi that keeps droppingWhich areas do you serve?
The whole Greater Toronto Area. That includes every part of the City of Toronto (North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, East York, Downtown and more) and the cities of York, Durham, Peel and Halton regions, such as Markham, Richmond Hill, Vaughan, Mississauga, Brampton, Pickering, Ajax, Oshawa, Oakville and Burlington. Remote support works anywhere.
All service areasAre you an authorized Apple, Dell or HP repair centre?
No. Tech Repair Toronto is an independent repair service. If your device is still under the manufacturer's warranty, use the manufacturer first so the warranty stays valid. For out-of-warranty devices you get a free diagnosis and a quote before any work.
What don't you do?
We don't repair phones or tablets, do board-level soldering, mount TVs, run network cables, or do any drilling or wiring (so no smart thermostat, doorbell or lock installs). Clicking or grinding hard drives need a clean-room lab, and we tell you before anything is sent out. Everything else on this site is something we do.
How much does a repair cost, and when do I pay?
The diagnosis is free. Remote sessions start at $25 and Windows and Mac repairs at $40; hardware repairs are labour plus parts. You approve a quote before any chargeable work, and on drop-off repairs, if we can't fix the problem you reported, you don't pay for the repair. We accept cash, credit, debit and e-Transfer.
